The Catholic Multicultural Center needs a group of volunteers from St. Bernard Parish to work from 9:30-11:30 a.m., Aug. 12 at the Emmett Schulte Garden.
The Human Needs Commission and Creation Care have partnered for our annual school supply drive. This year, we will also collect gently used school supplies for our religious education program in an attempt to recycle items no longer needed at home.
St. Bernard has six adults, who will participate in a Confirmation liturgy celebrated by Bishop Donald J. Hying at 2 p.m., Pentecost Sunday, June 5 at St. Bernard Parish, 2450 Atwood Ave., in Madison. Please remember them in your prayers!
The Madonna Rosary Makers will have free rosaries available on May 21-22 at all entrances to the church. Please feel free to take one for yourself, a family member, friend or neighbor.

On Good Friday, April 15, Knights of Columbus Council #4549 will fill plastic Easter eggs and prepare Easter goodie bags for the Easter egg hunt at 3 p.m., after the Good Friday Mass in the lower level of the Religious Education building. Children and adults are needed to help with the fun job of filling the Easter eggs and the Easter goodie bags. Pizza and refreshments will be available to the volunteers. The annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m., April 16 at Lakeview Park in Middleton.
St. Bernard’s Care for Creation team will host an Earth Day and Arbor Day event at 11:30 a.m., May 1 in the lower level of the Religious Education Center.
The Adult Confirmation process is a fun, interactive opportunity for Adult Catholics, who have not had the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, to complete their full initiation into the Catholic Church.
St. Vincent de Paul’s 30th annual Recycle the Warmth Blanket Drive will be held Jan. 28-30. They will collect new and gently used blankets as well as funds to purchase new blankets and bedding.

Adults, we need you to spend time with our students. Give them reason to trust in God’s love. Make it easy for them to receive the good news of Jesus Christ. Please consider volunteering as a small group leader for middle or high school. The commitment is one Wednesday evening per month for the next six months.
