The Adult Confirmation process is a fun, interactive opportunity for adult Catholics, who have not had the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Confirmation to complete their full initiation into the Catholic Church.
This six-week process emphasizes the basics of Catholic teaching respecting the adult audience’s many concerns, questions and responsibilities.
Some of the topics include the Trinity, sacraments, prayer and morality.
Requirements for Adult Confirmation Preparation are:
• A Roman Catholic adult, who has received Baptism and First Eucharist.
• A copy of your Baptismal Certificate if you were not baptized here at St. Bernard.
• A sponsor to accompany you in the preparation process.
Sessions are held from 6-7:30 p.m., every Tuesday in the parish office conference room beginning Feb. 20.
The Confirmation ceremony will take place at the Easter Vigil liturgy on Saturday evening, March 31.
