To celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Fr. Brian will bless your favorite animal — stuffed or real — in a drive-thru being held in the church parking lot. Beginning at noon on Oct. 4, Fr. Brian will be positioned outside the parish office door. Participants are asked to enter the parking lot through University Avenue or Franklin Street and line up on the north side of the parish office. You will then leave the parking lot on Parmenter Street. Please remain in your vehicle and wear a mask for the blessing. The feast commemorates the life of St. Francis, who was born in the 12th century and is the Catholic Church’s patron saint of animals and the environment.
