Jane Maly was recently named the new parish council president.
Maly has lived in Middleton since the late 1970s. Until her retirement two years ago, she worked for Springs Window Fashions in the sales and marketing departments and the credit department.
She has been a member of St Bernard parish since the 1980s and has been a member of the adult choir for most of those years. It was through the choir that she met her husband, Jerry. They were married 10 years ago, and she is now happy to have three stepsons, three daughters-in-law and six grandchildren.
Maly is also a member of the Madison Diocesan Choir and a board member for the Middleton Friends of the Performing Arts.
“I am pleased to be a member of Bernard’s parish council and very honored to serve as council president,” she said. “As a member of the council for the last four years, I have co-chaired the summer picnic and also co-chaired the first Winter Fest this past winter. I am looking forward to continuing being a part of this great team.”
