“Death is a certainty and yet, it’s one of the things that people prepare themselves the least for in life.” “Eternal Rest: The Art of Dying Well,” a new series on FORMED, explores the topic of death from a Catholic perspective, addressing why death exists, what happens when we die, how the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick helps and what we can do after a loved one dies. The beautiful videos enlighten us on truths in a gentle and compassionate way, helping us live more fully in anticipation of our own deaths. Parishioners Ben Roden and Brenda Gaab will lead these four-session small groups in Higgins Hall. Ben’s group will meet Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m., on June 1, 15, 22 and 29. Brenda’s group will meet Wednesday mornings from 9-10:30 a.m., from June 7, 14, 21 and 28.
