The St. Bernard Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul meets bi-monthly to pray together and plan parish-wide projects to help those in need throughout our community.
All members of the pastorate are invited to join St. Bernard's members of the Living Rosary as they gather to pray the rosary and adore Christ in Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
Grocery bags will be handed out this weekend for a food drive for Way Forward Resources in Middleton. Barrels will be located at the parking lot entrances for your donations next weekend.
Knights of Columbus Council #4549 will hold a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast from 8 a.m., to noon on Sunday, Oct. 8 in Higgins Hall at St. Bernard Parish, 2015 Parmenter St., in Middleton. A food drive for the food pantry at Way Forward Resources in Middleton will be held this weekend. Barrels will be available at parking lot entrances to the church.
These monthly meetings will start in the church and then the children will be dismissed to their classrooms in Higgins Hall and the Religious Education Center.
St. Bernard’s Care for Creation team will hold a Season of Creation event after the 10 a.m., Mass on Oct. 22 in Higgins Hall with a light lunch included. Learn how to better care for God’s creation from a guest speaker and information booths. All are welcome!
The monthly meeting is held on the fourth Tuesday of the month. It begins with a rosary at 7 p.m., followed by a business meeting at 7:30 p.m., in the Religious Education Center lower level.

The Madonna Rosary Makers will have free Rosaries available on Oct. 28-29 after all Masses. They will also have a collection box in the back of church (University Avenue entrance) for any old Rosaries, pieces or parts that you don't need. If you need a Rosary repaired, you may also drop those in the same box in a small plastic bag with your name, address and telephone number.
