St. Bernard’s annual warm clothing and food drives for St. Vincent de Paul will be held on the first two weekends of November.
The warm clothing drive will be held this weekend and Nov. 10-11. The collection includes new or gently used coats, boots, mittens, scarves and sweaters in all sizes.
The warm clothing items will be delivered to SVdP volunteers at our sister parish, St. Francis of Assisi in Milwaukee.
Collection barrels will be placed at the church entrances.
Bags for the food drive will be handed out this weekend, and the food collection will be held the following weekend, Nov. 10-11. A shopping list of needed items will be attached to the bag.
This collection will help keep a good choice of food available for clients at the SVdP food pantry, located on Fish Hatchery Road in Madison.
The SVdP truck will be parked next to the Religious Education Center, and volunteers will be available to collect your bags.
Thank you for your generosity in helping our neighbors in need!
