Registration materials for religious education for grades pre-kindergarten through high school are now available here on the St. Bernard website.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a way to welcome new members into the Catholic Church. RCIA inquiry sessions begin Sept. 6.

Susan Swanke recently started here as the religious education administrative assistant. She grew up in Monona and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary parish and school as a child. Swanke has previous experience as a parish secretary and in religious education. “I’m excited to join the team here at St. Bernard and look forward to meeting many new faces,” she said. “I already feel warmly welcomed!”

Knights of Columbus Council #4549 will hold their annual Fr. Pat Higgins Invitational at 9 a.m., Sept. 25 at Pleasant View Golf Course in Middleton.

Rhonda Miska, daughter of Ken and Claudia Miska of St. Bernard parish, is in formation with the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters.
