St. Bernard’s Care for Creation team has been awarded a grant from the Catholic Climate Covenant to build and supply a small garden that could be used to support local food pantries and educate parish families about the importance of taking care of our environment.
Members of the Living Rosary will gather on Oct. 7 to pray the rosary and adore Christ in Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. At 1:30 p.m., the group will pray the Joyful and Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary followed by a benediction with Fr. Brian in the church. This year, the parish’s "Snack Pack Blessings” program, which provides weekend food for Middleton Cross Plains Area School District students, begins Oct. 7. We are very short-handed on volunteer drivers. We are looking for a minimum of five more drivers to schedule on a four– to five-week rotation.
