"By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ." - Catechism of the Catholic Church
During times of illness, the Church offers the Sacrament of Healing and Anointing to bring the healing of mind, soul and body.
While this sacrament is sometimes only viewed as necessary at the time of impending death, it is really a Sacrament available to anyone during the time of any illness.
Please call the parish office at 608-831-6531 whenever you or someone close to you is seriously ill so that we can plan a time for a visit.
Also if you or someone you know is homebound and would like our pastoral associate to visit you or bring the Eucharist to your home, please call the parish office or contact:
Fr. Brian Wilk, Pastor
or
Kevin Laufenberg, Pastoral Associate, at 608-289-5876
